May 2008 - Finally braking ground and working through the lower level grading and site preparation phase
|
June 2008 - The first phase of grading completed ahead of schedule and after just a few short months we have poured our first 122 yards of 12" thick mat-slab concrete at the Lower Level foundation.
|
July 2008 - The foundation and framing at the lower level is moving forward right on schedule
|
August 2008 - More Lower Floor foundation ready to pour concrete and the Upper Floor framing is taking shape
|
September 2008 - More vertical framing completed including the Garage and lower level framing
|
October 2008 - The construction of the heavy timber trusses are put in place
|
November 2008 - The roof trusses and sheeting complete and readying the project for the winter Months. Much of the site slabs and concrete ready for stone paving.
|
December 2008 - Expandable Foam applied to the Vaulted Roof areas then capped with roof sheathing and finally dried-in with roofing paper.
|
January 2009 - The roof tiles have been stacked ready to be placed throughout while the final stone selection has been made and will be placed on all roof chimneys.
|
February 2009 - The windows and exterior doors have arrived and had been installed.
|
March 2009 - Much of the exterior trim and corbel details are installed and the roof tiles 90% complete.
|
April 2009 -The good weather allowed us to complete most of the exterior lath, complete and stain the exterior trim, complete the exterior stone work on the house, interior T & G, begin the electrical and radiant floor rough-in.

May 2009 - The foam insulation and interior ceiling finishes are completed and ready to receive the gyp-board for veneer plaster finish. Radiant heating and sub-floor material to be installed once this is complete.

June 2009 - The weather this year has allowed us to begin the pool and site work on schedule. Much of the stone work has been completed on the house and retaining walls.
|
July - 2009 Much of the finish details have been completed or close to it such as the roof, integral stucco finish, hammered steel hoods, stone work including rock walls, landscape irrigation and VGDF ceilings.
|
August 2009 - The custom Cabinets are installed on time and ready to receive stone tops, all the signature trees and boulders have been delivered and planted, the pool tile and patio stone near completion. With all these items in place the project has taken on a very different appearance. Wow!
|
September 2009-Landscaping is being planted on the outside, with the stone work getting closer to an end. Interior tile is moving along and looking great.
|
October 2009-finishes are progressing nicely and the outdoor kitchen is coming together.
|
December 2009 - While the finishing touches are being finished on the interior, the exterior is looking amazing. Just about time for a swim!
